Community Partners - Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Arnold
Sunday, November 24th, 2013 was a wonderful day for Food Link and several of our agencies. Our wonderful community partner Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Arnold collected and d 67 turkeys to Food Link! We are so fortunate to have this ongoing special partner in the fight against hunger! To everyone that d and helped in this effort we all say thank you for serving our neighbors in need. Merry Christmas to all!
May 2013 - GLORIA DEI! LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ARNOLD HELD A "FRIENDSHIP TEA" AND COLLECTED DONATIONS FOR OUR BABY PANTRY
On Sunday May 19, Gloria Dei! Lutheran Church in Arnold hosted a wonderful afternoon "Friendship Tea" with many women in attendance. Donations for Food Link's Emergency Baby Pantry were received and Paula Gordon spoke to the ladies about the history of Food Link and the Emergency Baby Pantry Program. Gloria Dei! Lutheran Church has been a support to Food Link for many years, helping the Emergency Baby Pantry Program respond to the ever-increasing need in our county. This program's mission is to meet urgent needs of babies suffering from poverty, domestic violence, teen pregnancies and unexpected family crises.
